THIS IN FROM YAHALE YADEDE FROM WZRD

Gentlemen:

I would like to turn to you for some help in this latest episode of WZRD's moves against me. Now, after the indefinite suspension was put into place for a while, their effort is to have me permanently thrown out. My opponents seize on certain elements which they do not like in CJ's Indymedia article. Basically they were further pissed off by the appearance of the article and seized on things in there which supposedly justify negative views of me. Now I'm not trying to nitpick at CJ's writing, I appreciate his interest in my situation, but his story has become part of the story, if you dig my meaning.

They seized on CJ's writing something to the effect that 'Yahale's name is synonymous witht WZRD in many circles.' For my critics this somehow translated into my violating the WZRD policy against not saying one's name on the air. I never heard of this policy meaning that WZRD people were to never make their name known off-air to long-time associates and repeat guests like CJ . How could you know someone for several years and not disclose your name?

Then they seized on the whole idea of CJ pointing out the existence of the monthly poetry show as a violation of some real or imagined rule. Well, previous managers and others had known about this and been fine with it, even encouraged it.

So they slam this whole thing of several years, since about 1997, which has brought so many poets to WZRD listeners, and attempted to do so within WZRD norms.

Gentlemen, I would appreciate it if you could help gather some testimonials from some of the past guests and poetry listeners who have felt that this programming has had value, and that it should not be rejected out of hand because of some vendetta against me or because of anger at seeing CJ's piece.

You can feel free to contact me at yahaleyadede@yahoo.com.

Thank you for your kind consideration.

Yahale
