On Tuesday, November 4, 2008, I joined hands with hundreds of thousands of people in Grant Park to celebrate the election of Barack Obama. Since then I have noticed a noteworthy phenomenon. First someone emailed me to tell me that he had a good cry, which made me have a good cry, and I emailed someone else to share this story and she had a good cry too. This has become contagious and everyone is having a good cry. If you haven't had your good cry yet, please think back to how horribly America has acted over the last eight years and then think about the possibilities of the future, and have yourself a good, happy cry. I took all these photos with Maggie's digital camera.
